The OAJ has opened the call for proposals of the first semester of 2023 to the astronomical community
The Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre (OAJ) has announced the call for proposals for observing in the first semester of 2023 with T80Cam, the scientific, panoramic camera installed at JAST80. The call corresponds to the Open Time that OAJ offers regularly to the astronomical community as national Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS).
From January to June 2023, OAJ will allocate 80 hours of observation time which will be split into Regular Programs (only the Target of Opportunity observing mode is available) and Director Discretionary Time. Additionally, the Legacy Surveys eventually selected among the proposals already received last May are also expected to start at the beginning of 2023.
The deadline for proposal submissions of Regular Programs is September 15th. While, the offer for Director Discretionary Time is permanently opened.
